Security
Your voice stays yours.
Plain answers about what happens to your audio and your account.
Recordings
When you dictate, your audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our voice engine, converted to text and discarded. We do not store recordings.
Who processes the audio
Our own service receives it first. The speech recognition and the editing step run on a hosted AI inference provider (Groq) under our account. Audio is passed to it only to produce your text.
What we keep
- Your email, name and a hashed password (bcrypt, never the password itself).
- How many words you dictated and when, so your dashboard and limits work.
- Your dictionary words, snippets and style choice.
We do not keep what you said.
Never sold
We do not sell or share your data for advertising. We do not use your audio or text to train models.
Accounts
Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies. Login attempts are rate limited. Password reset links work once and expire in an hour.
